Terms and Conditions of Variegata

 


Price

All prices include 25% VAT. We reserve the right to correct printing errors and to cancel sold out plants from your order.

 



Ordering

We have no minimum order amount and you can place your order either on Variegata.se, or by e-mail. If you order by e-mail we reserve the right to cancel any sold out items from your order.

Not all plants are available all of the time.  Due to the nature and size of our business it is not possible to keep this website up to date with regard to availability, it means that also sold out plants can remain on the website. We can not be responsible to deliver a product that is sold out or have been discontinued.

 

Confirmation

After you place an order, an order confirmation will be e-mailed to you. Save the order confirmation so you have the order number available for faster service when in contact with us.

 

Cancellation

You may cancel your order at no charge up until when it is sent from Variegata, then you as a customer have to pay the return shipping.

 

Payment

At Variegata, you can choose to pay in several ways. At the checkout, choose the option that best suits you before you complete your order.

 

Online Payment

If you wish to pay by debit or credit card you will during the buying process be linked to Payson where you register your card number and expiration date for the card. Payson has a solution for secure Internet payments and you leave your card number on their encrypted page, not to Variegata. You can pay with VISA or MasterCard. Payment in advance


In advance, you pay the order total to Variegatas bank account. It is important that you enter your order number when paying. Delivery takes place when we receive your payment. We reserve the goods for 7 days awaiting your payment.

Direct payment via Internet banking or PaysonDirect

Payments can be used for accounts in Swedbank, Nordea, Handelsbanken and SEB. Payment is made securely through Payson to ensure that your data can only be read by debit and banking system. You can also choose to pay with money that you transfer to your Payson accoundt .
ven if you do not have a Payson account before, it will take just seconds to do the transaction through Payson. Read more about Payson on payson.se.

There is no charge for direct payment through Payson.

 

Invoice (only within Sweden)

Invoice must be paid within 14 day. The invoice is sent to you by email after your order is dispatched from Variegata. If no invoice has arrived by email within 2 days after the item is delivered, please contact Variegata so that a new one can be mailed.
For late payments, a late payment fee (currently SEK 50), and interest at currently 25% will be added.

If we in the past has had problems getting payment from a customer, we reserve the right to refuse to purchase on account.

A billing fee applies to SEK 39 when paying by invoice.

 

Age-limit


In order to shop at Variegata you must be over 18 years.

Variegata can not be held responsible for any printing errors ore changes to product data that are beyond our control. We aim to give you a clear descriptions in words and pictures as possible but do not guarantee that all pictures accurately reflect the true appearance or color.

 

 

 

International orders

We deliver to countries within the EU.

 



Shipping and Delivery

Shipping costs will be added to the order and vary according to size / weight of the package. Shipping charges will appear in your check out. We ship mainly by the Swedish postal service (Posten AB) and follow their price list.
We grow our perennials in 9 cm, 11 cm and in some cases 2 L pots. All plants in 9cm pots are sent with pot. For plants in 11 cm pot or large we depot and removed any loose soil before delivery.
Larger trees and shrubs will not be sent!
These can be ordered and pict up at the nursery or delivered to any fair or market that we visit. The plants are delivered in the growing season: mid April - mid October. Can you due to seasonal reasons not receive your plants during this time, we encourage you to notify us of an appropriate delivery date when ordering.
We ship Monday - Tuesday to prevent that the package will be stuck with the carrier over the weekend.
We always send an e-mail and notifies you when your plants are on their way.
Normally it takes 1-3 days for package to arrive (3-9 days international).
Ordered plants must be picked up on arrival day from the delivery point! We can not accept responsibility for damaged plants that has been left longer than a day at the delivery point. Keep in mind that the plants have been traveling for 1-3 days (international 3-9 days) and is already in immediately needs to be unpackt and taken care of! 
You are always welcome to collect plants at the nursery, please contact us in advance, or visit us during our regular opening hours

 

Damage

Shipping damage caused on the package or its contents shall be reported directly to the carrier.

 

Unclaimed items

You are responsible to provide an accurate shipping address when you order with Variegata. If for any reason we will get back a package that is not picked up and hence is returned to us, we'll charge you full value of the item plus shipping and return shipping.

 

Warranty and complaints


If the plants did not meet your expectations please contact us by e-mail within two days after your delivery, we will together agree on how to solve the problem.
When exchanging or returning the plants, you pay shipping cost and is responsible for packing the plant well so that it reaches us in the same condition as you got it. Always contact us first before returning your plant!
Growth warranty of 2 months for all woody plants (not perennials), is provided if you have followed the cultivation directions provided with the distribution or on our website and any zoning.
In the case of perennials you buy a root system. A broken leaf or a stalk during shipment do not qualify for replacement. Growth warranty can unfortunately not be given on perennials. It is up to each grower's ability to ensure the plants growth.

Guarantee of identity are given only up to the invoice value.

 

Your rights under the distance selling regulation allow for you to return any item, in good condition to Variegata within 14 working days of receipt of your order, for a refund (excluding delivery costs), all costs incurred in returning items are payable by the customer.

We do not under any circumstances disclose your names or personal information with third parties. This also applies to e-mail addresses you provide to us.
